If you’re wanting some stylish camping romance, then Starry Nights Luxury Camping delivers. Featuring a large freestanding safari tent atop recycled timber flooring on an elevated deck, this is not your everyday tent. Furnished with a pillow-top king-sized bed with organic linen, a warming wood fire, a freestanding bathtub with shower and a kitchenette for romantic cooking, this is my kind of camping. The tent also has a flushing toilet and plush bathrobes and views of the bush and flowing grassy acreage, providing a delightful backdrop for this secluded getaway.

Taman Sari Private Pavilions

For those wanting private luxury accommodation, Taman Sari Private Pavilions offers a unique couples retreat that sits atop a ridge-line overlooking the densely forested ranges and rocky escarpments of the Obi Obi Valley. Two standalone designer pavilions offer stunning views from a private deck, log fires, and a pebbled bathroom with a double spa bath and twin showers. Each pavilion also has a loft-style bedroom and spacious kitchenette with an electric hot plate, dishwasher, and microwave for some gourmet self-catering. But here it’s really about the views and surroundings with mountain trails that pass by the property and the natural delights of Mapleton Falls National Park and the Mapleton township only a short drive away.

Spicers Clovelly Estate

Guests can book rooms individually or hire the whole of the Maleny Lodge if you and your besties want to celebrate Valentines Day with girls weekend away. Other features at the lodge include a country-style kitchen complete with the original brickwork and a heated swimming pool plus a barbecue area and a fire pit for cooler nights.

Narrows Escape
