Our family’s two bedroom apartment at Oceans Mooloolaba was stunning but the weather was anything but. Our accommodation had impressive views of the beach and the interior looked like something you’d see in Home Beautiful magazine. Even the in-room compendium was classy. The apartments at Oceans are large with a long, narrow design that gives the illusion of even more space. Everything was first class, from the fridge with an in-built icemaker to the Morrissey toiletries in the bathroom. The shower had so many massaging spray outlets that my husband dubbed it ‘the carwash’. There was also a huge bathtub with beach views.
The kitchen was equipped with high end appliances and sharp knives (a first!) plus a nicer dining setting than we have at home. It was easy to stock up at the supermarket located a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. There was also a little welcome treat of handmade chocolates which we enjoyed on the balcony with a cup of coffee from the Nespresso machine. We had a great meal at the local Surf Club but if you didn’t feel like venturing out there was no need to leave the apartment. Oceans Mooloolaba offers a high end holiday experience with a laid back ambience that encourages you to sit back and relax. Whether you’re travelling as a couple or a family, it’s one of Mooloolaba’s top picks when it comes to accommodation.
