Here is our guide to Noosa’s best Hastings Street honeymoon hotels, babymoon hotels and places to stay for any type of Noosa romantic getaway. This Noosa travel guide has been designed for couples who enjoy the finer things in life, and have a credit card and aren’t afraid to use it. Hastings Street is in the heart of the action at Noosa, not just for accommodation but also for dining, bars and shopping.

The natural beauty of Noosa National Park is also just a short stroll away. The best tip for finding the most romantic hotels on Hastings Street is to do some research on sites like TripAdvisor and most importantly, call the hotel and ask some questions. You might like to ask which is the best romantic room for your budget, if the hotel has been renovated recently and if there are any major events or building work going on when you’re planning to visit.

The National Park is just a few minutes away

If there is a major event on during your romantic getaway, the cost of accommodation will be much, much higher. Noosa will also be very, very busy. If you aren’t heading to Noosa to celebrate an anniversary and don’t have to visit on a particular weekend, why not book your romantic getaway for another time? One thing worth noting is that not all Hastings Street accommodation is available on a per night basis, with many resorts only offering weekly rentals or a minimum two night stay (or longer during peak periods). If you can afford a room with a balcony overlooking beautiful Laguna Bay, and your credit card is primed for a good work out, you can really live it up at Noosa. Starting from the right hand side of Hastings Street (looking at the beach), here is a guide to some of Noosa’s most romantic Hastings Street accommodation.

Netanya Noosa

This long-time Noosa favourite is located next to the walkway leading into Noosa National Park and is also home to Sails Restaurant, one of Noosa’s favourite beachfront fine diners. Netanya Noosa rooms are decorated in a beach plantation style, with some (but not all) having undergone a refurbishment. One of the most romantic room types is the One Bedroom Beachfront Penthouse which has views of Noosa’s Main Beach and swaying palm trees. Features include a king size bed, kitchenette, separate bathroom with spa bath, living area and private rooftop with spa. Expect to pay around $450 a night with a minimum three night stay.

On The Beach Noosa

As the name implies, On the Beach Noosa is located right on the beach and even has a ‘secret door’ which takes guests straight onto the Noosa boardwalk. Downstairs you will find Bistro C, a lively restaurant with stunning beach views, and the upmarket cafe Boardwalk Bistro. Rooms at On the Beach Noosa are modern and stylish, with beachside chic décor and all the mod-cons. Couples will love the One Bedroom Open Plan Penthouses which have some of this resort’s best beach views and span two levels, thanks to a private rooftop terrace with a spa, barbecue and small entertaining area. Features include a king size bed, kitchenette, unique glass shower cubicle with ocean views, and a living area with a couch that almost screams ‘take a seat and feast your eyes on this awesome view!’ Expect to pay around $570 per night.

Apartments at Fairshore have been fully renovated, with each room decorated in a different style depending on the personal taste of the owner. Expect to pay around $450 per night with a minimum five night stay. Couples can’t go wrong with any of the top floor apartments which include a queen size bed plus a separate bedroom with two singles, kitchenette, separate main bathroom, lounge and a balcony with outdoor seating to take in the views.

Seahaven Noosa

Modern, stylish and located at the quieter end of Hastings Street, Seahaven Noosa has a limited number of beach and bay view rooms. Each apartment includes a full kitchen, dining setting, large lounge, laundry facilities and a private patio and a barbeque. There is also a rooftop spa deck in the penthouses which are a great choice for couples. Expect to pay around $680 per night for a penthouse, with a minimum three night stay. Studio Rooms and Hastings Suites are cheaper but don’t have ocean views.

Tingirana Noosa

This apartment complex has undergone a major renovation with a full closure during the Winter 2017 season. Each apartment has been converted to a chic open plan layout with new bathrooms, new furnishings, new décor and more. Tingirana Noosa has Laguna Bay views plus an infinity pool overlooking the beach. Downstairs you will find Season Restaurant which has a number of prime tables overlooking the beach. The pick of the rooms at Tingirana Noosa are those on the higher floors as these offer the best views. Expect to pay around $700 per night.

Beyond Hastings Street

If you don’t have your heart set on a Hastings Street stay, the following accommodation options are sure to surprise and delight, especially if your love of Noosa is larger than your wallet. Staying off the popular (and pricey) Hastings Street strip can save a lot of money and expand your options when it comes to finding holiday romance.

Eumarella Shores Noosa Lake Retreat

Located on Lake Weyba, this eco certified lakeside retreat is perfect for romance with individually styled heritage cottages offering wonderful views over the lake and activities such as kayaking, bush walking and fishing. Our top pick at Eumarella Shores Noosa Lake Retreat is the Cormorant Cottage which has a queen size bed, double spa bath on a glass enclosed veranda, private lakeside timber deck with BBQ, romantic log fire, full kitchen, laundry and beautiful lake views. It is a 10 minute drive from here to Hastings Street. Nightly rates start at $310 with a two-night minimum.

Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas

This accommodation option is located on the hill overlooking Noosa, just a five minute walk from Hastings Street. Ocean glimpses are available from many rooms but as the beach is some distance away from the lovely self-contained apartments at this resort, so are the ocean views. A better alternative – and an even more gorgeous view, in our opinion – can be found in a one bedroom apartment with a National Park view. At around $738 for a three-night stay, Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas is a stellar option for budget conscious luxury lovers. Ask for a room with a National Park view when you book as some of the best ones make it feel as if you are surrounded by the rainforest.

Disclosure: The writer spends way too much time gazing at the view instead of writing whenever she stays along the beachfront at Noosa.
