About Tiana Templeman
Dr Tiana Templeman is a Brisbane-based travel author, award-winning freelance journalist, cruise columnist, travel copywriter, radio presenter, and media industry educator and academic.
Tiana is the creator of The Travel Temple and contributes to media outlets including Escape, The Australian, Explore, Cruise Critic, Australian Traveller, BBC Travel, NZ Herald, AWOL, Jetsetter, Out & About With Kids, The New Daily, Travel Associates, International Traveller, Flight Centre, 9Travel, SilverKris, Active Retirees, Holidays for Couples, MiNDFOOD, and Luxury Escapes. She also appears on radio talking about where to visit, what to see, and travel industry trends.
Tiana is also a specialist tourism industry copywriter and has worked with clients including Tourism Australia, Flight Centre, 9Travel, Intrepid, Tourism & Events Queensland, News Studio, and Storyation.
As a media spokesperson and specialist industry academic Tiana has delivered ‘Working with the Media’ courses for Tourism & Events Queensland and lectured at the Queensland University of Technology. She has taught face-to-face workshops and on-line for organisations such as Queensland Writers Centre and is a regular panellist at industry events. Tiana has also travelled around Australia and beyond as a Destination Lecturer for Celebrity Cruises.
